larimana "lori here. following up on what i posted about those haunted vhs tapes. i managed to aquire those tapes for around 20 dollars. upon rewatching them i was unable to get the same effect that was described in the original tapes. tape 1, "Forest Footage" the footage was blurry and a mess, contained a man walking through the woods, it was at around 2 minutes in i came to realize what it was. it was somebody trying to make an at home found footage movie. at around 1:45 you can hear somebody say "cut!" and then the movement stops and i can't hear what they say. the so called "forest runner" footage containing the tape trying to talk to you, a text message saying "here i am!" at around 20 seconds. the other tapes are so boring i honestly dont want to try to explain. they are similar parts of this film. gotta say, it looked real shit. however judging by the faces it was made by highschool freshman. with no hauntings in the tapes i can only come to 2 conclusions. 1, the most obvious is that the tapes being haunted were fake. but.. thats no fun. so hypotheses 2, it's not the tapes that are haunted, it's the crt itself. to the orignal forum poster, im willing to pay for your crt. lets see if its real.
